Professional Services Week
26th – 30th June 2017
Professional Services Week is a week of activities across Birmingham for secondary schools to raise awareness of and enthusiasm for careers in the professional, financial and business services (BPS) sector.
When we talk about professional services we mean businesses whose primary purpose is to support other business through providing specialist advice, knowledge and consultancy to help them achieve their business goals. The most obvious examples include accountants, lawyers, surveyors, architects and more creative services such as digital, marketing and technology, but there are so many different roles beyond this within the businesses that provide these services and the week is intended to raise awareness of the whole spectrum.
If you’re a secondary school looking to take part, volunteer, business host or want to find out how to get involved, please click on the relevant links or contact BPS Birmingham. Otherwise, enjoy our PSW 2016 campaign video below.
Interested in supporting or working with BPS Birmingham on future events? If your school or professional services business would like to be involved, please email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0121 270 8000.
