Birmingham 2038 Part 2

October 11 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The year is 2038 and Birmingham has been transformed.

High-speed trains rapidly ferry people to and from the city, the Commonwealth Games are but a distant memory, Paradise, Arena Central and a raft of other new developments present a new, striking skyline, while the city boasts one of the youngest populations in Europe and continues to raise its standing on the global stage to visitors, businesses and investors.

In-line with the city’s motto ‘forward’, the latest series of events from Birmingham Future’s Infrastructure Committee will bring together leading experts to explore what the city might be like twenty years from now.

Whether you’re passionate about property, or just want to get a feel for how the city you live, work and play in may look and feel in 20 years’ time, these events are for you.

Book your place at Part 1 here or if you’r not currently a member email hello@bpsbirmingham.co.uk to purchase a combination ticket for both events for the discounted price of £15 + VAT.

This event explores the changing social nature of Birmingham in 2038, spanning leisure, housing, workforce and environment.

• Rebecca Riley, Director at City-REDI, The University of Birmingham
• Adam Rawlings-Smith, HR Director, AECOM
